Working with the Fawcett Society

Following conversations with Jarek and Hope yesterday about opportunities for making a real difference, I decided to contact the Fawcett Society to see if they would be interested in being involved in the development of Glass Ceiling.

Bottom line - they are! I had a lovely chat with Ben, Fawcett's communities officer, who was very enthusiastic. They are already looking at a campaign for using gaming as a vehicle for fundraising, exploring the experiences of women involved in games, and of course finding innovative ways to fight for women's rights.

I have promised to share Glass Ceiling with Ben as soon as it's available and agreed that I will donate 5% of all profits from sales of Glass Ceiling to the Fawcett Society. They are keen to support the game with the Fawcett name and with social media activity. I have high hopes that this will be a very mutually beneficial and satisfying partnership going forward!
